ISPS  International Conferences 2013 & 2015

 

 

Dear Colleagues,

 

ISPS international conferences have been the main focus of ISPS activities since its beginnings and have always been stimulating and enjoyable.

 

In 2011 we are to be in Dubrovnik and we are now actively seeking interest from any group interested in organising ISPS international conferences in 2013 and also in 2015.

 

We hope a number of ISPS groups will consider this seriously.

 

We would like to hear expressions of serious interest in organising the 2013 conference by the end of September 2010.

 

Experience indicates that an organising committee needs three years to organise an international conference.  A successful conference can play a big part in helping the local ISPS group impact on national developments and sometimes lead to the development of an active ISPS network in the country or region. It is a wonderful chance to bring the breadth and depth of ISPS expertise to your area.

 

All we want at this stage is:

 

• evidence of active serious local interest in organising one of the conferences

 

• the availability of an attractive  venue that can hold 600 -1000 with plenty of parallel rooms

 

• Once you have expressed interest, the ISPS board would want to work with those interested and come to a decision on the location of ISPS 2013 before the end of 2010.

 

The board would ideally like to be in a position to decide the venues and organisers of both the 2013 and the 2015 conferences by the end of this year, so don’t hold back from showing interest in the 2015 conference too.
