Members of ISPS Hellas

On March 31st 2OO7, the official Constitution of ISPS Hellas was signed by the following founding members:

 

1. These members are also the members of the new Board of Directors:

 a) Anastassios Koukis, President

 b) Manolis Kozadinos, Vice President

 c) Angela Piergallini, General Secretary

 d) Spyridon Kassidiaris, Treasurer

 e) Nikolaos Plitas, Member

 f) Paraskevi Katopodi, Member.

 

2. ISPS Hellas is progressively expanding. There are now 36 registered members. In july 2OO7 ISPS Hellas paid the network fees to ISPS for the first time.

 

3. ISPS Hellas has already started its first annual seminar on the Psychoses: Theory and Clinical Aspects.The seminar covers two academic semesters each one of which contains one didactic unit (one unit every two months).

 

4. The second Annual Meeting and Conference of ISPS Hellas was not held on May 2OO7 as planned. It has been postponed until late November or the beginning of December 2OO7. The third Annual Meeting will be held as normal in May 2OO8.

 

5. ISPS Hellas is about to expand its internet site.

 

6. ISPS Hellas printed out 5OO copies of the last ISPS Newsletter (it was distributed electronically by ISPS last time, as known). The costs were funded through the extra contribution of some of our members.

During 2006, ISPS Hellas accomplished the following:

 

1. The group already numbers some 35 members, and there are application requests from all over the country.

 

2. We are becoming better organised all the time. We are currently involved in the process of becoming a legal entity, drafting our statutes etc.

 

3. Our first Board was elected as follows:

Panagiotis Drolias, Treasurer

Eleni Andreadou, Secretary

 

4. We are preparing for our second Annual Meeting around the end of May 2007, in conjunction with our usual conference.

 

5. Many members of ISPS Hellas took an active part in the most recent international ISPS symposium that was held in Madrid in June 2006.


6. Dr Anastassios Koukis wrote a review of Johan Cullberg’s book Psychoses: An Integrative Perspective for publication in the Spring 2007 edition of the ISPS Newsletter.
